2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA, and served from data centres inside the European Union. Vercel processes technical access data on our behalf; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place. Where data reaches the USA, the transfer is based on the EU standard contractual clauses under Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.

3. Server log files

When you open this site, your browser automatically transmits data that is recorded in log files: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing device, time of the request and IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. This data is not merged with other sources, serves only technical operation and defence against attacks, and is deleted after 30 days at the latest.

4. No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser’s local storage and embeds no analytics, advertising or social media services. No usage profiles are created. That is also why you see no cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to.

5. Fonts

The typefaces used are bundled at build time and served from our own server. Visiting this website therefore opens no connection to Google Fonts or any other external font provider, and no IP address is transmitted to a third party.

6. Getting in touch

If you write to us by email, we process the details you provide solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns entering into a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We keep your enquiry until its purpose no longer applies or you ask us to delete it. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

7. External links

This website links to external services: our Calendly booking form and our LinkedIn profile. Simply viewing this page transmits no data to them. Only when you click such a link do you reach the provider in question, whose own privacy notice then governs the processing.

8. Your rights

You have the right to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Please contact us at the address given above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority for us is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, Promenade 27, 91522 Ansbach, Germany).
